IESE Business School and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), China’s leading business school, have joined forces to launch the IESE-CEIBS Ph.D. Program, which will start in September 2012. The program will be the first joint Ph.D. program between a European business school and a Chinese business school.
The program’s curriculum will combine European management expertise from the faculty members of IESE, one of the top global business schools, with in-depth knowledge and market expertise focused on China from faculty members of CEIBS, the country's leading business school.
“The IESE-CEIBS Ph.D. Program is designed to develop the next generation of professional management researchers and scholars in China - in accordance with international practices and standards – and in Europe,” said IESE Professor África Ariño, who spearheads IESE's involvement.
The program will help develop outstanding faculty members, who can prepare MBA students and executives to thrive in today’s complex global business context.
The IESE-CEIBS Ph.D. degree is an official doctorate recognized by the European Union. In addition to an official diploma, IESE and CEIBS will issue a supplementary certificate to recognize their joint endorsement of graduates from the program.
