Get Ready for DGDW 2012

Europe's largest student-run responsible business conference, Feb. 24-25
February 9, 2012

On Feb. 24-25, IESE Business School's Barcelona campus will host Doing Good and Doing Well - Europe's largest MBA student-run conference on responsible business. More than 700 participants from all over the world will debate key issues related to sustainable business and society.

Featured speakers at DGDW include Jeffrey Spector, Chief of Staff of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Mark Drewell, CEO of the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative, Gavin Neath, Senior Vice President Sustainability of Unilever and Jacques Pieraerts, Vice-President & COO of Toyota Spain.

The annual event - which has drawn prominent speakers in the past such as Prof. Muhammad Yunus (Grameen Bank), Lord Michael Hastings (KPMG) and Maurice van Sabben (National Geographic) - features an array of presentations and panel discussions on key sustainability topics.

The conference will also feature a Sustainability Fair, showcasing best practices in the sustainability space; a Career Forum and networking event, allowing professionals and students to learn more about career opportunities in responsible businesses; and the Cleantech Venture Forum, featuring promising start-ups and representatives of the investment community.

In addition, the Social Investment Competition (SIC)  will bring together MBA students, socially-minded entrepreneurs and social investors (social venture capitalists, impact investors, venture philanthropists, etc.) to carry out the entire investment process in an extremely condensed time period, while being judged and moderated by the investors.
