Biography

Evgeny Káganer is an assistant professor in the Department of Information Systems. His research interests focus on institutional and social aspects of information technology (IT) diffusion and its use within and beyond organizations.

Prof. Káganer has also done extensive research and consulting in the area of healthcare information systems. In particular, he was involved as a research associate in a three-year project funded by the National Science Foundation, which analyzed the implementation and impact of hospital-wide clinical IT applications in healthcare provider organizations in the U.S. His work has been published in the European Journal of Information Systems and Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings.
