IESE's BAN in partnership with Keiretshu Forum España, Business Angels Network Cataluya, among others has joined forces to create the first Spanish Association of Business Angels Network: AEBAN.
Its main objective will be to help the development of this sector in Spain, offer more opportunities of co-investment, as well as to exchange viewpoints and practical knowledge.

Business Angel Investment Remains Steady but Cautious in 2008

The CVR (Centre for Venture Research) has published a study of the most recent statistics of private investment in the United Sates. It states that although private investors have invested less, this decrease in investment has not been as aggressive as that of the venture capital funds. A major trend among private investors has been the increase of co-investment, which notably reduces the risk.
