To inaugurate this year’s Reunion, we have organized a welcome reception at the Royal Shipyards ("Les Drassanes"), a highly valuable example of civil Gothic architecture. The act will provide the ideal setting for you to catch up with former classmates and professors.

Academic Directors, Prof. Antonio Dávila y Prof. Jaume Ribera, have designed a program that features a stimulating mix of prominent keynote speakers. Under the slogan, “Shifting paradigms: Opportunities Lie in the Challenge” the event will provide participants with a thorough overview on the current changes affecting companies and society at large, and the opportunities that can arise when confronting these challenges.

The Golf Tournament, which will be held at Sant Joan golf course in Rubí, is a fantastic opportunity to join your classmates, fellow alumni and professors in a relaxed networking environment. Visit to the Boqueria Market + Ham Tasting.

The tour of the Boquería will include a brief introduction on the history of the market, followed by a tour of the most emblematic market stalls, where marketsellers will receive you and accompany the tasting with a biref explanation of their product.

Iker Erauzkin, renowned chef, will present three of the most interesting varieties of NESPRESSO, describing the qualities and strengths that differentiate each one. -
Visit to Codorniu Winery.
Where: Codorniu Winery
When: Oct, 30, 11:00
Enjoy a historic tour of the Codorníu wine cellars, built at the end of the 19th century and which constitute one of the largest underground wine cellars in Europe. The visit includes cava tasting in unique surroundings, a modernista masterpiece built by Puig i Cadafallch. The tour will culminate with a luncheon in the Capitular room. -
Secrets of the MNAC.
Where: MNAC (Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya)

Familiarize yourself with over 1000 years of history of art through a refined selection of artistic masterpieces drawn from various movements: Roman art, gothic, Renaissance,Baroque and modern art. To round off we will visit the numismatic and photographic collections.

The Royal Shipyards of Barcelona are architecturally speaking a gothic masterpiece forming part of the maritime façade of the city which was first constructed at the end of the 13th century, under the reign of Pedro III of Aragon. Since the beginning, it was constructed for the fleet of the Kingdom of Aragon.
It is a National Heritage Monument.

Palacio de Congresos de Catalunya:The Palau de Congressos de Catalunya is located in one of the most important financial and business centres of the city. The building itself is a symbol of contemporary Barcelona. It was designed by the architects Ferrater and Cartañá and has received the National Architecture Prize in 2001.

All amateur level players with a valid golf federation licence can take part.
The event includes:- Welcome Pack and gift for each player
- Catering mid-round for all players.
- After finishing the round a light lunch will be served in the club house.

The Course has been designed by Severiano Ballesteros, and is considered one of the most complete golf courses in Spain for its layout and size. It is a 72-par, 18-hole course, with a total length of 6.046 metres. The course is demanding, abundant with trees throughout, and allows players of all levels to enjoy its forms, although the orografia forces places to bring out their best shots. Use of a buggy is recommended.

La Boquería :
The Boquería market is by own merit one of the most famous in the world, with a recent ascencion in the ranks in the last few years which culminated in the market being awarded the prize of Best Market in the World durign the World Markets Conference in Washington DC in 2005. With almost 300 stands involved in almost 30 different activities, it is a reference for fresh goods in the city, coining the phrase "what you can't find in the Boquería, doesn't exist".
First Activity:
45-minute tour during which four market sellers will attend to the group and offer a tasting session of their products.
Second Activity:
Meet in the market cookery class with a serrano ham tasting session with a professional cutter. Approx. duration 35-40 minutes.

Iker Erauzkin, renowned chef, will present three of the most interesting varieties of NESPRESSO, describing the qualities and strengths that differentiate each one.
The participants will have the opportunity to join in a coffee-tasting session of the three varieties previously explained by the chef, followed by a "blind test" of the coffee-tasting skills acquired.
To finish, Iker Erauzkin will offer participants two "tapas" (hors d'oeuvres) that use the three coffee varieties as key ingredients.

Codorniu Winery:
Visiting the Codorníu wine cellars is to submerge oneself in the history of cava, the history of a culture, of values and of people. In all of these elements, we find architecture, history, tradition and innovation and a job well done, aspects which make Codorníu a place filled with magical sensations, dreams and tales of endurance and trust.-MORNING GROUP-
First Activity:
45-minute tour of the wine cellars in a miniature train.
Second Activity:
Meet in the Capitular room and tasting session of 3 different cavas. Approximate duration of 35-40 minutes.
Following this, lunch will be served.
Logistics: Participants will be split into two groups. The first group will start with a tour of the wine cellars while the second will start with the tasting session.
Schedule: 11:00 to 16:00

MNAC (Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya):
The MNAC embraces all the arts (sculpture, painting, objets d'art, drawing, engraving, posters, photography and coinage) and has the task of explaining the general history of Catalan art from the Romanesque period to the mid-twentieth century.
With this visit, we hope you will discover the principal museum spaces that are available to residents and visitors and enjoy the beauty of this regional landmark.
