History in the Making: GAR in Sao Paulo < Back
Just a few weeks remain for IESE’s premier alumni event, which will take place in Latin America for the first time ever. The Global Alumni Reunion is set to draw hundreds of IESE graduates from around the world for a program packed with academic sessions and networking opportunities.
Among the speakers who will lead sessions are Paulo Ricardo Stark, CEO of Siemens Brazil; Santiago Fernández Valbuena, CEO of Telefonica Latin America; and Eduardo Paes, Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, among many others.
The title of this year’s event, “Charting Paths in a Wider World,” speaks to today’s changing business dynamics and the increasingly important role played by Latin American markets, particularly Brazil. The event will feature panel discussions on topics such as the turbulent financial industry, innovation in media and globalization.
The academic director of this year’s GAR is IESE Prof. Eduardo Martínez Abascal.
