FAQs

How is the program structured?

The AMP is divided into 5 separate modules spread over 4 months. Each module consists of 3,5 days held at the Dubai International Financial Centre in Dubai (DIFC). Between the modules, you will be preparing for the next module. During the residential modules, participants are urged to complete their daily “learning logs,” thus when they return to their companies they are equipped with a meaningful and tangible take-home agenda.

Dates:

Module 1: Understanding the Business Landscape
November 16-19, 2009

Module 2: Transforming Business Leaders
December 14-17, 2009

Module 3: Managing Value Creation
January 25-28, 2010

Module 4: Achieving Competitive Advantages
February 22-25, 2010

Module 5: Improving Business Performance
April 5-8, 2010

Module 6 (Optional in Barcelona): Negotiating and Networking
May 26-28, 2010

How will I learn and how much time will the work load take up?

You can expect to be fully occupied with classes, study and organized social activities during the 5 modules. This means that you should try to leave any work responsibilities at the office. On average, you will spend 8 hours each day divided between classes and small team work, normally attending 4-5 sessions a day.

Where will I stay during the residential modules?

IESE has corporate agreement with several hotels close to to DIFC - Center of Excellenece, and will help you with the reservation.

What is the application procedure?

Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year and should be received at least two months prior to the program's start date. Due to limited class size, early application is encouraged. Late applications will be considered if space is still available in the program.

All complete applications for admission will be thoroughly reviewed by the program's Admissions Committee, which will be the sole judge of a candidate's qualifications to enter the program. Due to class size restraints and the need to have a balanced mixture of backgrounds, sometimes not all fully qualified applicants can be admitted to the program.

Applications should be mailed or faxed to:
