Pedro Videla has taught at universities across Europe and North and South America, and serves as a visiting professor at IAE, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, IDE and Lagos Business School, among others.
Prof. Videla has consulted for a variety of institutions, including the World Bank, IMF, the European Union, the Inter-American Development Bank and USAID.
He has authored case studies, contributed to numerous books, and published articles in the financial and specialized press. He is currently an editor of Journal of Emerging Economies.
Evgeny Káganer
Professor of Information Systems, IESE Business School
Ph.D. in Business Administration (IS), Louisiana State University
Evgeny Káganer teaches MBA and executive education courses on IT management and e-business strategy. His research interests focus on IT innovation diffusion, industry transformations and webenabled business practices.
Prof. Káganer has done consulting work in IT implementation and strategy for a number of companies in the United States and Europe. A native of Russia, he also served as a regional manager for a major Russian financial services firm before commencing his graduate studies in the United States.
His work has been published in the European Journal of Information Systems and presented at premier management and IS conferences.
Daniel Thorniley
Senior Vice President, The Economist Group
Ph.D. in Soviet Political Economy, University of Surrey
Daniel Thorniley is the senior vice president of The Economist Group based in Vienna and a frequent contributor to The Economist, Time, Foreign Report and Moscow Times.
As an expert in emerging markets, he has authored and co-authored several books, including Emerging Markets: Lessons for Business Success and the Outlook for Different Markets and Doing Business in Emerging Markets.
Dr. Thorniley has consulted for numerous multinational organizations on business strategy development and has addressed various international entities, including NATO and the United Nations.
