Sandra Sieber

Sandra Sieber’s areas of interest center on the interplay of strategic management and information systems and the role of new information and communication technologies (ICTs) for organizational learning and innovation. Her research on technology adoption and IS implementation highlights the need for improved user knowledge about IS and advocates a more interdepartmental and collaborative approach toward
joint project accountability.

Prof. Sieber is currently researching ICT-enhanced innovation and the impact of new technologies on work practices, especially in the telecommunications, banking, and media and entertainment industries. She has contributed to several books and published articles in leading international journals, magazines and newspapers.

Fabrizio Ferraro
Assistant Professor of Strategic Management, IESE
Ph.D. in Management, Stanford University

Fabrizio Ferraro is a specialist in social networks, governance regimes, open-source communities and strategy execution. He has published numerous articles in journals such as Academy of Management Review and Academy of Management Journal. He received the 2005 IESE Research Excellence Award and the 2006 Best Paper Award from the Academy of Management Review.

Prof. Ferraro is a member of the Board of Editors of the European Management Review, a member of the Programme Development Group of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management, and founder and board member of Inter@ctive Market Research, an international market research firm.

Josep Valor
Professor of Information Systems, IESE
Doctor of Philosophy in Operations Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Josep Valor is the associate dean of Faculty and Research and professor of Information Systems and Information Technology. His current research interests include the impact of ICTs on competitiveness and industry structure.

In addition to publishing his research in International Journal of Electronic Commerce and Knowledge and Process Management, Prof. Valor has published books on the information-telecommunications hyper-industry and information systems management. He serves on the editorial board of Information and Management.
