New York, September 22 - 25, 2008
Held in the world's financial capital, the Inside New York program will focus on the global factors most critical to corporate strategic outlook. In four days, you will tap the expertise of both IESE's prestigious faculty and an extraordinary cast of international luminaries at the World Business Forum (WBF), such as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, retired CEO and Chairman of General Electric Jack Welch, Harvard Business School master strategist Michael Porter and Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus.
Participants are first primed by IESE faculty with an in-depth analysis of key global issues, including the overall economic picture, current financial crisis and its likely consequences, and the impact of China and India on global strategy.
Next, participants attend the agenda-setting WBF to learn from global headliners and network with other senior executives. Participants will enjoy a private lunch with Michael Porter and have the opportunity to address questions to WBF speakers, whose responses will be recorded and distributed to participants.
Following the WBF, the program offers a debrief to leverage the expert analysis in strategic action. With adept guidance from IESE faculty, participants will recalibrate their priorities and shape new action plans. Finally, the program includes an optional eye-opening tour of leading firms hosted by innovation expert Erich Joachimsthaler.
