All applicants must submit the following materials:
1. Application form. Including a recent photograph and a photocopy of passport - Application form (PDF, 93 Kb)
2. Certified copies of all academic diplomas obtained.
3. Official transcripts from all universities attended. If the original documents are in a language(s) other than English or Spanish, the candidate must send an official translation into either English or Spanish.
4. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). - Results should be sent directly to IESE, using IESE's code: 0736. - Starting January 3, 2006 the IESE GMAT code will be: S21-BK-53 IESE will not consider results from tests taken more than two years prior to date of entry. To find out when and where to take the GMAT test, please contact GMAT directly:
5. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Obligatory for all whose native language is not English. Results should be sent directly to IESE, using IESE's code: 0755. (Please do nott fill out "Dpt. Code") Candidates whose secondary school or university studies were conducted entirely in English, or who have worked for at least two years in an English-speaking country, need not take the TOEFL exam. 6. Three letters of recommendation. These should be written by professors familiar with the applicant's academic record. Applicants should follow this procedure: write your name and the name of the person recommending you on the recommendation form, self-address and stamp the envelope provided, and give it to the person who will write the letter of recommendation. Upon completing the letter, the evaluator should enclose it in the envelope provided, seal it, and return it to you for inclusion with the rest of your application documents. 7. Application fee. 75€ (in form of a check addressed to IESE).
8. Personal interview. Once all application materials have been submitted, the applicant will be invited for a personal interview at a time and place arranged between IESE and the applicant.
The PhD in Management Admissions Committee makes its final decision on each application based on the completed application materials and the interview report. No application can be considered that is not complete.
Deadline: Please note that all the steps (1-8) in the application process must be completed by February 15.
