Leadership and Motivation

Team: José Ramón Pin and Lourdes Susaeta

This line of research studies what the skills of today’s leading executives should be, executives who can manage to get a new type of employee, whose work motivations may be different than before, involved and motivated in the company and its plans.

IRCO’s research focuses on providing innovative formulas to assist workers to create added value, both for the company and for their personal and professional development. Achieving the aforesaid requires sharing ethic values that must be reaffirmed and establishing a deontological code for the company in the new millennium.

IRCO promotes research on:

  • Motivation at work.
  • Management skills that must be developed in order to motivate a new type of employee.
  • Personnel administration practices that help to get employees involved in the company and its plans: mentoring, coaching, empowerment...
  • Moral values in the business environment.
