Best Practices in Management Development in the Public Sector
Analysis, assessment and recommendations to improve training policies for public sector managers

The goals are to:
1. Analyze and compare existing training policies at all levels: content, participant profiles, teaching methods, training materials, instructors, values, public and private institutions where training is given, assessment methods and systems.
2. Assess the current state of training among public sector managers in Spain and the fit with the civil service's real need for professional management and government policy at all levels.
3. Make recommendations to improve training policies for public sector managers
Flexibility in Collective Agreements

Published quarterly, this report compares the situation of the labor markets in six Autonomous Communities of Spain using four variables: employment, which measures the creation of employment as related to the overall needs of the economy, adaptability of the market to variations in supply and demand and to other changes in the micro or macro-economic environment, accessibility for worker groups considered vulnerable (women, youth, etc.) and performance, the ratio between real salary variations and productivity, attempting to anticipate the sustainability of salary and employment trends.
Corporate Social Responsibility in Spanish Companies Listed on the Stock Exchange with respect to the Small Shareholder

The project consists of three studies. The first is a general study on corporate responsibility based on a survey of 500 Spanish companies. At the same time, a survey is being taken of 140 companies listed on the stock market in order to ascertain how communication with small shareholders is managed and the impact of this communication on financial results and on the company’s brand-name value. The project is complemented by a brief survey of an additional 50 companies listed on the stock exchange regarding the implications of the policies put forth by the Aldama Commission for their management processes.
