New Frameworks for Leadership and Innovation

The AMP guides you to build on a foundation of experience as you hone your leadership skills in a global context. Watch your confidence grow in your ability to meet the ever-changing challenges of your position, clearly communicate your vision and identify opportunities for innovation with a sharper eye.

Time is set aside for processing new insights and perspectives. This allows you to reflect on areas for personal or professional development, as well as actions geared to your organization's needs. Daily learning logs also maximize program benefits. This aspect of the program not only helps boost effectiveness, but also has an impact on leadership competencies that many describe as "transformational".

Authentic Contexts for Discussion

IESE's case study method - central to the program's dynamic learning experience - offers opportunities for in-depth analysis and virtual high-stakes decision making. Cases based on real-life business situations spark discussions that broaden perspectives and bring a shared understanding of multiple business areas such as corporate strategy, operations and marketing.

After analyzing business scenarios on your own, you engage in energetic exchanges within your assigned group and defend your recommendations in the classroom. The give-and-take of distinct viewpoints strengthens essential listening and persuasion skills.

A Theory-to-Practice Approach

The Cross-Program Project (CPP), a key element of the AMP, mixes theory with practice and allows you to leverage the expertise of your peer group. This evolving action plan, created over the course of the program, addresses a specific strategic challenge you face.

CPP team sessions offer invaluable peer input, while faculty members add their expertise inside the classroom and out. Discussions challenge you to reconsider both the way your company operates internally and the complex and volatile external market in which you compete. This dual-perspective approach adds strong practical value to the learning experience.
