Polish and European Context, Global Outlook

All editions of the Advanced Management Program share the same essential objective – to improve the professional effectiveness and leadership capacity of each and every participant. Yet the Polish edition is unique because it is tailored to the realities of Europe as the region undergoes fundamental, structural economic change.

The AMP in Warsaw is a distinctive product on the Polish market: it offers the professional benefits of one of the world's most acclaimed programs for Senior Executive Development, combined with course content tailored to Polish realities, in a format accessible to one of Europe's most dynamic economic regions.

As the business panorama of Central and Eastern Europe has transformed, IESE Business School has sought to play an active role in the region. Each year, many highly-qualified candidates from Central and Eastern Europe take part in IESE’s full-time MBA, Global Executive MBA and Executive Education Programs, many of them from Poland. Currently, about 5% of the MBA class is from the region, which is home to a large and growing network of IESE alumni. Regional chapters coordinate numerous reunions and other events for local alumni throughout the year.

Moreover, since 1991, IESE has provided support to junior faculty members at major universities in Eastern Europe through the school’s International Faculty Program, which was established with assistance from the European Union. Graduates of the IFP program play a key role in preparing the region's future managers and entrepreneurs. Since the program's inception, more than 80 faculty members from leading Polish schools of business and economics have taken part.
