Prof.Marc Sachon

Marc Sachon

Professor of Production, Technology and Operations Management, IESE Business School
Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, Stanford University

Marc Sachon serves as the Academic Director of IESE's flagship program AMP Munich and is the Academic Director of IESE's international research center on logistics, CIIL. Prof. Sachon's interest is on strategic coherence between business strategy and operations strategy. His current research focuses on distribution logistics and strategic games in retailing. He has won several teaching awards in executive education.

Prof. Sachon has published numerous articles in leading scholary and business journals and has contributed to several books on management. He has consulted for companies in Spain, Europe and North America, in several industries, including airlines, finance, retail, real estate and utilities.

Prof.Ahmad Rahnema

Ahmad Rahnema’s research focuses on international finance, risk management and means of payment. In addition to his research, Prof. Rahnema serves as the co-editor of the International Journal of Finance Education and a member of the editorial board of Harvard Deusto: Contabilidad & Finanzas, as well as the advisory board of the European Capital Markets Institute.

He has consulted for numerous multinational organizations and has authored and co-authored several books, including Finanzas Internacionales (International Finance) and Basilea II: Una Nueva Forma de Relación Banca-Empresa (Basel II: A New Banking-Business Relationship).

Prof.Sandra Sieber

Sandra Sieber 
Associate Professor of Information Systems, IESE Business School
Ph.D. in Management, IESE Business School

Sandra Sieber serves as the chair of IESE’s Information Systems Department. Prof. Sieber’s interests focus on the interplay of strategic management and information systems, and on the role of new information and
communication technologies (ICTs) for organizational learning and innovation. Her research highlights the need for improved user IS knowledge, especially when IS plays a strategic role in the organization.

Prof. Sieber has published articles in international journals and has contributed to several books.
