Inside India

Next Edition: To be announced

As one of the world's largest and fastest-growing economies, India has emerged as a major player in today’s global markets. Although GDP growth is expected to slow in 2009 with the global economic crisis, it will still be 3-5 times higher than in the West. CEOs and managers need to understand the opportunities and challenges of this rising country, as well as the role India plays in the increasing interdependence of the Asian, European and U.S. economies.

Inside India provides a close-up view of doing business in the country by covering critical topics such as offshoring, investment opportunities, consumer behavior, and the social and political landscape.

Sessions will be led by world-class faculty experts from IESE Business School and the Indian School of Business (ISB), and will include guest speakers from the public and private sectors. Participants will also interact with business leaders and hear first-hand descriptions of the strategic dilemmas they have faced in the Indian market. Visits to private homes and public marketplaces will complement the program by offering a closer look at Indian culture and consumer behavior.

With sessions held in Hyderabad and Mumbai, Inside India is an ideal starting point for companies seeking to carve a niche in the dynamic Indian marketplace.
