Associated Business Schools

IESE is the focal point of an international network of associated business schools around the world. It all began in 1967 with the establishment of the business school IPADE in Mexico City. IPADE was created when Mexican academics and business leaders turned to IESE for guidance on the establishment of a school of management for Mexico. IPADE is now one of Mexico's premier graduate schools of management.

An Active Network
This was the beginning of an overseas network that now includes 17 schools on four continents. In each case, IESE has worked with local academics and business leaders in order to establish the new schools, and many times in cooperation with other schools such as Harvard Business School.
