Central and Eastern Europe

IESE and Central and Eastern Europe

As the business panorama of Central and Eastern Europe transforms, IESE Business School is playing an active role in this part of the world.

Through the school’s International Faculty Development Program (IFDP), IESE provides support to business school educators in these regions and worldwide.

Since the program's inception, more than 200 faculty members from diverse universities have taken part. The school also provides an on-line case-sharing system for graduates.

Since 2006 IESE began the Advanced Management Program (AMP) in Warsaw. The program offers a European perspective and a global vision to companies and entrepreneurs who have their operations based in Poland.

With this AMP, IESE wants to harness the presence of the school in Central Europe, particularly in Poland. The Polish market has great opportunities for business development and attracts great volumes of foreign investment.

In terms of the school’s MBA program, the school seeks to recruit highly-qualified MBA candidates from Eastern Europe each year, and organizes information events at major cities across the region. Currently, about 6% of the MBA class is from Eastern Europe. There is also a large network of alumni living in Eastern Europe.  Regional chapters coordinate reunions and other events for alumni living in these areas.
