Many university graduates, from a wide variety of disciplines, begin their professional careers when they complete their degrees. Then, after several years in the business world they realize they have a need for new skills and a desire to develop the knowledge and tools essential for the development of their professional career. Their professional and personal futures depend on it.

At the same time, these managers start to reflect upon the real meaning of their professions, as well as their fundamental aspirations. While many consider undertaking a full-time MBA, it is frequently decided against due to time constraints and personal circumstances. Others do not wish to give up their hard-earned position within their company in order to invest the time needed to complete an MBA. For this reason, more than 25 years ago, IESE created an Executive MBA program to meet the needs of working executives. Thus, we have ample experience in delivering the EMBA, and above all, an extensive network of alumni who hold high-level positions in Spain and around the world.

Students in the program make a significant leap forward towards personal maturity, while developing new skills and abilities alongside experienced faculty members and peers.

The Executive MBA at IESE is internationally-focused and bilingual (Spanish-English). Course material is provided in both languages and two program formats are offered to accommodate our students' personal and professional differences: weekly and bi-weekly.

The program is offered in the IESE campus in Madrid (weekly and bi-weekly format) and in Barcelona (weekly). The last intensive week will be held at the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai.
