Message from Bill Layton, President, IESE USA Alumni Chapter Bill Layton (MBA’95),
Director of Corporate Relations,
Princeton University | I would like to say that we are delighted that IESE has selected New York as the site of the 2009 Global Alumni Reunion, the 48th in the annual series. We have raised IESE's profile in the USA considerably over the last year with an increased number of activities and academic sessions held in varios American cities. This reunion will provide an invaluable opportunity to reflect on the changes experienced in the global business environment over the last year and the need to re-define business parametres, using past experiences to stimulate growth and innovation, alongside IESE faculty members and keynote speakers of distinction. We encourage all IESE graduates to take part in this memorable event, which will also feature many fascinating cultural activities. Being the first time that the Global Reunion crosses the Atlantic, you can't miss it! |

Every year, since 1961, IESE Alumni Association has organized an annual reunion, traditionally known as “The Assembly,” to gather together all IESE alumni. Its main purpose is to bring members up-to-date on new concepts, trends and business practices. It also provides an ideal setting for you to meet up with former classmates and alumni from all over the world.
IESE alumni that have participated in recent assemblies, such as those held in Munich 2006, Barcelona 2007 and Madrid 2008, have first-hand experience of the way in which the academic sessions are conducted.
Following the academic sessions, the Closing Dinner will be held in Cipriani 42nd. This event is open to all IESE alumni and their spouses. Located in the centre of Manhattan, this Italian Renaissance-inspired landmark of decadence and stomping ground for the social elite, Cipriani 42nd is internationally renowned for its grand gala events hosted by high-brow celebrities and fashionistas. The building's high ceilings and majestic interior make it the perfect setting to round off what promises to be an inspiring conference. Dress code: Business and Cocktail attire

To bring the Reunion to a close in a memorable fashion, a series of guided visits and activities in New York will be organized for participants. We hope you will join us!
