11 West 53 Street New York, NY 10019 MoMA is a five-story atrium that has housed a colossal collection of over 100,000 pieces of modern art. From Picasso and Matisse to the urban interpretations of Frank Lloyd Wright, aficionados of modern art will not be disappointed. Option 2: Metropolitan Museum
1000 Fifth Avenue between 80th and 84th Streets Known to locals as "The Met", this overwhelming museum is a must-see for all art and culture fiends. The sheer size and breadth of the art collections ranging from Oceania to Africa could keep you entertained for days. Option 3: Whitney Museum of American Art (OPTIONAL)
945 Madison Avenue at 75th Street on the East Side of Manhattan
The Whitney Museum houses a collection of around 12,000 twentieth-century American works of art ranging from paintings to multimedia installations. Join Alumni President Bill Layton (MBA-95) and long time NYC resident and alumnus, Lorraine Merghart Ballard (MBA-84) as they host this enjoyable and fun way to experience some of New York City's most memorable sites from the deck of a classic harbor boat. Enjoy a twilight tapas cruise that takes you along the shores of the city's historic Hudson River, into the New York Harbor where you'll enjoy close up views of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge and be enchanted as NYC's skyline view begins to sparkle at night.
