Interviews 1. Student Availability Due to the academic pressure an IESE MBA implies, we would ask you to help us arrange interviews at a time best suited to the student's class schedule. The best months and times for student availability are the following: 2. Logistics 1st Round Interviews IESE has a videoconferencing service for those companies that wish to use this system for their interviews. Telephone interviews are also possible. Please contact MBA Career Services to coordinate dates and times. 2nd Round Interviews
Typically, companies directly contact the students who they wish to invite for a second-round interview, however MBA Career Services can continue to contact students, if so desired. In either case, it is important to keep the MBA Career Services informed of the students who continue in the selection process. Due to the demand of the MBA program on students' time, we would ask you to arrange visits company headquarters during weekends or vacation periods. Travel expenses incurred by students for such visits are usually covered by the company. Offers Once the offer has been accepted, students are personally committed to the company until they join it.
To ensure a suitable fit between the needs of the company and the candidate, it is important to ensure that the job and company description is as accurate as possible. To initiate the recruitment process, you can use the electronic forms provided on Post your Positions or simply contact MBA Career Services.
To facilitate the selection process and only in those cases where the company requests it, MBA Career Services can carry out a pre-selection of candidates on the basis of objective criteria such as previous degrees, nationality and previous experience required.
To help organize the interviews, MBA Career Services is available to coordinate times best suited to the company's convenience and the student's class schedule, as well as ooking interviewing facilities.
To allow time for interview preperation, we advise providing students with at least 3 days notice.
The most commonly used selection process at IESE consists of first-round interviews on-campus. In order to coordinate your interviews efficiently, please provide Career Services with the following information at least 10 days before you would like the interviews to take place:
Second-round interviews usually take place at the company's headquarters but can also be organized on the IESE campus with the same procedure as for 1st Round Interviews.
Once the recruitment process has been completed, the company extends offers to their selected students. It is recommended to give the student a deadline for giving an answer.
