How is the Program Structured?

The Global CEO Program for Latin America consists of three residential modules distributed over a period of three months. The comprehensive curriculum explores the CEO’s job as it relates to various strategic, government, investor, market, societal, and trade union concerns, and also examines the impact of the new world order on the Latin American economy. International residential sessions on three continents and international faculty from the partner institutions reflect the truly global dimension of the program. Strategic Team Projects will be facilitated during the three learning modules, allowing participants to explore specific areas of interest for their companies with the guidance and input of professors and fellow participants.

Dates:
Module 1 (Europe/Madrid): October 6-10, 2008
Module 2 (North America/Philadelphia): November 10-14, 2008
Module 3 (Asia/Shanghai): December 8-12, 2008

Where will I stay during the residential modules?

Accommodation will be provided at all modules.  The exact hotel locations in Madrid, Philadelphia and Shanghai are yet to be decided. During the residential modules the participants will have a booked room from Sunday through Friday/Saturday. Should participants prefer an early arrival or late departure, IESE will make these arrangements, subject to hotel availability.

What is the dress code during the program?

Informal attire is appropriate for the classroom. For business visits and closing dinners, we suggest that men bring a jacket and tie and women bring similarly formal attire. The temperature in Madrid during Module I (October) will likely range between 20º and 25º degrees Celsius with tropical levels of humidity.  Module II in Philadelphia (Early November), temperatures will be much cooler ranging between 2º and 15º degrees Celsius. And Module III in Shanghai (Early December) temperatures will also be cooler ranging between -7º and 5º degrees Celsius
