SEP at a glance

Content
General Management with Latin American foundations.  Topics covered will include: leadership, globalization, strategic management, organizational behavior, personal development, marketing, operations, economics, finance, strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, wealth management and negotiations.

Dates and Structures
To maximize the time spent on the learning process, the Senior Executive Program takes place over a period of nearly 6 months, divided into four 1-week residential modules, taking place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida and at the Madrid campus of IESE. A tightly-knit web community ensures that participants and faculty stay in regular contact with each other between residential modules.

Madrid: December 1-5, 2008
 

Module 3 – Serving your Company and Clients

Miami: February 9-13, 2009
 

Module 4 – Making it All Work

Participant Profile
The program is aimed at participants with knowledge and experience to contribute to class discussion and work who derive a significant portion of their business from Latin America or plan to in the future. Participants will typically be top-tier management or company owners and have 15 years of managerial experience or more.  Members of the class will be selected to ensure diversity of companies, sectors and cultural backgrounds.

As in Miami this is the inaugural program of this series an example of a similar class profile for 2007/2008 (AMP Barcelona) can be found below.  We expect a comparable diversification however with a very concrete interest in Latin America. 

The AMP class of 2007/2008 consists of participants representing 19 different countries.  The average age of the participants is 43 years old.

Faculty: The world class faculty has developed extensive experience in designing programs for senior managers. This results in courses which provide both conceptual frameworks for effective decision making and practical tools for real-life implementation.

Class: Limited class size. Profile will be varied in terms of companies, sectors and nationalities represented.

Fee: For the class of SEP 08/09 $39,000. Fee includes tuition, all reading and classroom materials, most meals and accommodation.
