IRCO was founded in October of 1998 as a new Research Center within IESE, under the Academic Direction of Professor José Ramón Pin Arboledas.
IRCO operates on the principle that “there is nothing more practical than a good theory, but theories are impossible without analyses of practice”. Therefore, all of its research is carried out on conceptual and practical levels. Thus a vanguard conceptual framework is defined that serves to orient practical action programs valid for the organizations of the future.
Making the above a reality demands the collaboration of all agents involved in the process. For this reason, IRCO collaborates with private companies, the Public Administration and non-profit institutions, who orient the definition of the Center’s research projects and make its activities possible.
