In 2012, the IESE Center for Globalization and Strategy will launch the IESE Cities in Motion Strategies platform with the goal of creating innovative thinking and tools that will make local governments smarter. The initiative will connect a worldwide network of city experts and specialized private companies with local administrations all over the world. Together, the IESE Cities in Motion Strategies and the private sector will play a major role developing Smart Governments and helping them create better opportunities for their citizens.

The results of the study on the relocation of the Offshoring Research Network are available in this new book published by the BBVA Foundation. Research led by IESE's Prof. Joan Enric Ricart in collaboration with Pablo Agnese, Niccolò Pisani, Adetunji Adegbesan helps business managers to deal with the organizational challenges caused by the boom in offshoring knowledge workers.
