This issue of Notes on Globalization and Strategy is special for two reasons. For the first time, our publication is edited solely in electronic format, making it much more agile and sustainable. Moreover, in this edition we pay homage to IESE professor Eduardo Ballarín, who died a few months ago and to whom we already paid tribute in the last edition. On this occasion, we focus on clusters, an area in which Prof. Ballarín was a pioneer in Spain.
The Center carried out the second report of the Offshoring Research Network Project with the collaboration of the FBBVA.
The data collected in the second surveys show that Spain is making some progress in offshoring. You can read more in the report Offshoring in Spain. Evolution and Trends of the Offshoring of Services, 2008. Available online (only in spanish)
