IESE's Latin American experience goes back to ts origins, forty years ago. Since its very first days, IESE has maintained a close relationship with the business community throughout the region. In addition to receiving Latin American participants in all of its academic programs, IESE has helped establish business schools in nine Latin American countries:

• Argentina – IAE

• Brazil – ISE

• Chile – ESE

• Colombia – INALDE

• Ecuador – IDE

• Guatemala - Tayasal

• Mexico – IPADE

• Peru – PAD

• Uruguay – IEEM

These schools, together with others in Europe, Africa and Asia constitute IESE's international business school network.

IESE cooperates with other educational institutions from throughout Europe (Germany, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom) and the Americas (The United States, Venezuela).

Mission

The mission of CELA is to integrate and reinforce IESE's activities in Latin America, for the benefit of companies operating in Latin American markets, and thereby cooperate in the economic and human development of the region.

Objectives

• To give impetus to entrepreneurial activity in the region, implementing various research and trainingprojects related to Latin American markets.

• To encourage business ties between Latin America and Europe through international academic and executive programs.
