CSBM CE2CSMB Strategy Committee Met at IESE to Evaluate the Year and to Propose New Investigation Lines

The Strategy Committee of the Center for Sport Business Management (CSBM) met once again to evaluate the year and to propose new investigation lines. This Committee, chaired by Professor Sandalio Gomez, relied, among others, on Emilio Butragueño, Francisco Roca, Jacobo Beltrán, Javier Lozano, Alberto Garcia Chápuli, Lolo Sainz, Javier Herrero, Raúl Castro, Fernando Martín, Ignacio Gracia and Carlos Martí.

Valencia, March 3, 2009
Sandalio Gómez, IESE Professor and President of the Center for Sport Business Management, said that "Valencia is a perfect model of strategic development through the hosting of sports events" during the inaugural act of the Fifth International CSBM Forum. The Forum was celebrated in Valencia and brought together important sport experts.

CSBM Strategy Committee Meet to Define Key Objectives

The CSBM strategy committee met twice to define the center's key aims and objectives for the following year. These include developing research into the role of sporting events in the development and internationalization of cities, and how to professionally manage sports clubs.
