Woman as a change agent in companies

Over time, women are taking a more prominent role in companies. Still, there are many barriers and differences in business between men and women.

These differences are based on research information on the job market: In 2007 the percentage of women in Spain was 54.7% and in the EU27 was 58.8%. The difference between men and women in Spain was 21.5 points while in EU-27 was 14.2%.

The study "Women and Men in Spain: Barriers and Drivers of their Careers" by Professor Mireia Las Heras, explains the distinguishing factors between men and women and provides a range of solutions to this problem.
