The IESE Technological Springboard seeks to promote and create companies with a technological base. It therefore supports entrepreneurs in the different stages of the process of creating a company.

The Cidem Network of Technological Springboards is a union of support centers which help to create technology-based companies. Universities and business schools in Catalonia participate and offer counseling services on the key aspects encountered by entrepreneurs who are starting businesses based on a technological project.

The objectives of the Network of Technological Springboards are:

• To promote an entrepreneurial spirit in places where new business concepts arise: scientific universities, technology centers and business administration schools.
• To promote the establishment of centers that attract entrepreneurial projects in their most embryonic stages in order to assist them to become robust companies and facilitate their working in a network with connections to all the key agents: incubators, consulting, venture capital…

Some 300 projects are analyzed annually by the Network of Technological Springboards (TT Network). In the past year, over 30 projects were funded by the Network for an amount of more than 3 million €.

IESE’s Technological Springboard has a team specialized in various fields who, along with IESE professors, cover all the needs that may arise during the entrepreneurial process.

Above all, the Springboard supports entrepreneurs by making the following services available:

• Counseling on drawing up a Business Plan. Structuring the business, methodology, viability of the project, as well as support in all stages and fields involved in drafting a business plan.
• Legal counseling. Incorporation, patents and brands, legal obligations, formulating and drafting all legal documents that may be necessary.
• Financial counseling. Support in searching for any type of State or regional subsidies, as well as in searching for and negotiating with potential investors.
• Technical counseling. IESE provides a support network of Professors and Alumni with recognized professional experience –who cover all economic sectors and are ready to provide counseling for entrepreneurs.

IESE’s Technological Springboard is open to all students and alumni of IESE. It provides an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world to launch technology-based companies in Catalonia.
