IPSS seminars in Colombia. September 2008. IPSS Director Christian Seelos presented his research on innovative approaches to regional development to executives in Caragena and Bogota, Colombia. He was invited by INALDE Business School of the Universidad de la Sabana to share his insights with leading executives of the major Colombian companies as well as with senior staff from the public sector.

IPSS at the first pan-Canadian PhD Sustainability Academy. September 2008. The Richard Ivey School of Business, in London and Ontario, Canada, hosted the first pan-Canadian PhD Sustainability Academy. The Academy brings together world-class academics and senior business leaders who are pushing the frontiers of sustainability practice to create a high impact forum for developing tomorrow’s thought leaders. The PhD Sustainability Academy seeks to promote high-impact scholarship in sustainability, with a focus on multidisciplinary thinking and practice. The doctoral academy featured three distinguished guest academics - Dirk Matten (Schulich School of Business, York University), Andy Hoffman (Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the School of Natural Resources & Environment, University of Michigan) and Christian Seelos (IESE, University of Navarra). More information

Newsletter Center for Globalization and Strategy Prof. Christian Seelos was the main editor for the 10th edition of Notes on Globalization and Strategy , the newsletter of the Center for Globalization and Strategy. Prof. Seelos invited William Kramer - President of the Global Challenge Network and David Dean - Senior Partner & Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group Munich, as guest editors.
