IESE Platform for Strategy and Sustainability Director, Professor Christian Seelos, was the invited speaker to the Erb Colloqium at the "Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise," University of Michigan. He presented his research on "Business models in the context of deep poverty - social entrepreneurship and corporate strategies.

IPSS Director Christian Seelos presented insights from his research on social entrepreneurship and innovative business models in the context of deep poverty at the session ‘Innovation Across Borders’ which was part of the conference ‘Innovatie Proeftuin 2028’ hosted by the Delft University of Technology. The conference is organized by the Dutch Innovation Platform, which aims to create the conditions, establish the connections and develop the vision required to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. The Platform brings together key players in the knowledge economy: experts from politics, business, research and education.
IPSS Addresses Faculty at University of Oregon

Profs. Christian Seelos and Johanna Mair presented their research on "Innovative business models in the context of deep poverty" to faculty members from a number of different departments at the University of Oregon. Seelos and Mair followed an invitation from the faculty of the Lundquist College of Business, Mike Russo, Lundquist Professor of Sustainable Management and Head of Department of Management and Alan Meyer, Thomas C. Stewart Distinguished Professor. The seminar took place in the new Lillis Business Complex, which houses the second-largest photo-voltaic array in the State of Oregon and is recognized as the most environmentally friendly business school facility in the country.
