Top Executive Skills

Team: Pilar García, Pablo Cardona

Among other initiatives, the IRCO coordinates the Centro de Excelencia en Competencias Directivas (Center for Excellence in Executive Skills) – CECAD , which promotes the personal and professional development of executives through the identification and measurement of those skills that favor success in carrying out executive functions.

Specific Methodology
The process of professional and personal improvement begins with a diagnosis of the individual’s current state, which is something like an x-ray of personal skills. The objective of this step is to determine possible shortcomings in executive skills that may exist in the organization, as well as potential talent, in order to design efficient improvement processes.

This service is divided into three phases, each one of which can be contracted separately:

Phase 1: Definition of the profile of executive skills
Definition of the executive skills profile considered relevant and desirable by the Management. Evaluation of the real executive skills of the executives. Gap Analysis: comparison of both profiles and determination of possible shortcomings and potentials.

Phase 2: Advising
Advising in the design of specific education and training plans to progressively decrease any shortcomings found. Based on this diagnosis, the improvement process is begun with the appropriate support and guidance.

It is a good idea to repeat the diagnosis every so often, in order to continue advancing along the path of personal and professional improvement.
