Biography

Ángel Luis López is a Postdoctoral researcher at IESE Business School. He has a PhD in Economics, a M.Phil in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics, and a MSc in Networks Industrial Economics from University of Toulouse 1, currently Toulouse School of Economics. He obtained the financial support of the Fundación Caja Madrid to obtain these degrees. Ángel graduated from University of Las Palmas with a BS in Economics.

Ángel specializes in the Economics of Telecommunications. His research focuses on the broadband market and mobile telephony, and on the impact of access charges on retail competition. His main research interests are also competition policy, energy and industrial economics.
In 2008 Ángel was awarded the "Juan de la Cierva" research fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
