IESE is a business school created by and for entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurship has always been prominent in our academic work and to this end, IESE created the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, EIC. In addition, IESE carries out activities that support entrepreneurship locally, in Europe and beyond. Examples include: the support of academic activities through the Bertran Foundation Chair of Entrepreneurship, participation as country coordinator for the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week, participation as a partner sponsor in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Spain, participation in the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER) and participation in the pan-European Association of High Growth Entrepreneurs Growth Plus (Europe's 500).
IESE has also developed an investment fund, FINAVES, and has formed a Network of Private Investors (business angels) in Barcelona and Madrid to help create new high-growth businesses.
