Acceptable Use of Information Resources

Most of the library's electronic information resources are licensed from commercial providers under legal contracts. They are to be used for the purposes of personal academic study and development only. Under no circumstances should they be used for commercial gain. Users should check the terms and conditions of each information provider for detailed information.

Copyright regulations must be followed when making copies of publications and data. Regulations are displayed in the libraries near the photocopiers.

Library Policies

The Library's services are restricted to professors, students, IESE's staff, Alumni and IESE Members.

Respect other library users. Do not talk in or near any area used for individual study. Keep talking and noise to a minimum in service areas.

Show care for resources and equipment. It is absolutely forbidden to smoke in the Library, and to bring food or drinks.

Study tables cannot be reserved. Do not leave your belongings on the table while you are out.

You may not use the computers in the Documentation Room and the Hall for personal Internet searches or for using electronic mail (use the students' Computer Rooms, E-009 and E-118).

Books consulted in the Reading Room must be returned to the corresponding areas.

Material requested for loan must be registered at the Library desk before leaving the area.

Loans must be made personally; you are not allowed to take out documents under another user's name.

The service for consulting books contained in the stacks will close 15 minutes before the Library's closing time.

Mobile phones must be switched off.
