IESE's library has launched a new business blog to keep the school's community abreast of the latest business knowledge. The blog, fittingly called "BizKnowledge Watch," tackles topics such as innovation, entrepreneurship, social responsibility and economics, among others.
"Every day, a great amount of information comes through the library - we created the blog to be able to share this valuable data and hope that it will be useful to a lot of people," said Carina Huguet, the library's Technical Director.
The library staff will hand pick the most current research from tried and trusted sources in order to present relevant information to its readers. In addition to the latest news and research, blog users can also find statistics, reports, studies and rankings.
And the library hasn't stopped here. Plans to improve and expand the blog are already under way. One of the new features developed is to utilize web 2.0 to promote interaction with the blog's readers and get as much feedback as possible. The staff will also work towards presenting a
proprietary style to differentiate BizKnowledge Watch from other existing blogs.
