Many prospective members of the Class of 2014 flew into Barcelona for Admitted Weekend - a special event designed to help future students gear up for their IESE experience, get to know the school better and form bonds with future classmates.
The 2-day program was packed with special academic sessions, cultural visits in the city of Barcelona and networking activities. The future students are set to embark on IESE's MBA program in September.
The Admitted Weekend gave a successful first impression and reassured students that they had made the right choice in choosing IESE. As one participant said, "It's a wonderful start for great relationships going ahead."
First year academic director, Prof. Alejandro Lago gave an insightful session on their MBA experience. Future students were welcomed by Itziar de Ros, Director of MBA Admissions at IESE. They heard about the variety of services offered by the MBA Office from Elena Liquete, Executive Director of the MBA Program. In addition to taking part in teambuilding activities, participants in Admitted Weekend enjoyed a tapas lunch on the mountain of Montjuic, which offers spectacular views of Barcelona, and visited various cultural sites throughout the city.
"I'm a partner...and I've never felt more welcomed. It's such a beautiful city," said a participant in Admitted Weekend.
