Over the last decade, the number of IESE Business School alumni living and working in China has multiplied, keeping pace with economic growth in the region. Today, 544 IESE graduates are based in China, almost double the number working there a decade ago.
On June 30, the first-ever IESE Alumni Family Reunion in China will be held at CEIBS Lujiazui International Finance Research Center in Shanghai. The special event will include academic sessions led by IESE Prof. Pedro Nueno and Alberto Forchielli, founder of Mandarin Capital Partners.
The reunion will bring together IESE graduates who are based in China to learn, network and reflect on the values gleaned from the IESE experience, such as professional excellence, making an impact on organizations, service to society and making people central to all managerial decision making.
Alumni growth in China reflects the IESE's expanding activities and commitment to advancing management education in Asia. The school has longstanding ties with CEIBS, offering joint executive programs with the school such as the Global CEO Program for China led by IESE, CEIBS and Harvard Business School; and the Global CEO Program led by IESE, CEIBS and Wharton. This year also marks the start of IESE's joint Ph.D. in Management program , offered in collaboration with CEIBS.
