IESE Hosts Business Access Media conference in New York
IESE Business School hosts the Business Access Media conference (BAM) at its New York Center Oct. 25 – 26, 2012. This annual conference brings together business school communications directors from top North American and European business schools so that they can meet with journalists from major media outlets.
Journalists from The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Reuters Television, Forbes, US News and World Report, Fortune, Fast Company, CNN, USA Today, Financial Times and other well known media outlets will attend the conference.
Over 55 communications directors will attend from such schools as Harvard, Stanford, Duke, Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business, MIT's Sloan School of Management, NYU's Stern School of Business, and HEC of Paris, as well as a number of other outstanding business schools.
The one-and-a-half day conference will consist of different panel discussions between journalists and the communications directors. There will also be a panel discussion on social media, a Graduate Management Admission Council luncheon presentation entitled "GMAC News Center: A New Resource for Communicators and Marketers," a presentation by a VP from the Economist on their recent research entitled "What's on MBA Minds?" The conference will conclude with a luncheon presentation by Janet Balis, Publisher, Huffington Post Media Group.
