MBA Case Competition Kicks off
This year’s focus is automotive components manufacturer Gestamp

MBA students from top international business schools – such as CEIBS, HKUST, Kellogg, LBS, Ross and Tuck – gather in Barcelona February 25 – 27 with IESE MBAs for the IESE Roland Berger International MBA Case Competition. One of the world´s oldest and most important case competitions, this year’s focus in on the future of the automotive industry.
The challenge lasts two and a half intense days, during which MBA teams analyze a relevant and current business case – “Gestamp: Becoming Indispensable to Major Automotive Manufacturers.” As part of the challenge, they have to identify and work through its key problems.
Each team has the opportunity to present their solutions before a panel of distinguished judges. The jury includes Gestamp’s CEO, two experienced partners from Roland Berger, as well as IESE’s automotive expert, Prof. Marc Sachon.
The case competition was launched in 1995 and is sponsored by IESE and Roland Berger. Over the last two decades, it has become renowned internationally due to its distinct relevance to real-life business, gathering the most talented students worldwide and experiencing the impressive culture of Barcelona.
The event fosters the sharing of ideas and contacts between the world´s brightest future business leaders.
