Jaume Ribera is Program Co-director and Professor of Production and Operations Management at IESE in Barcelona, Spain. He is also the Port of Barcelona Professor of Logistics at CEIBS (China-Europe International Business School), in Shangai, China. He had already worked as an industrial engineer before earning his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and his Doctorate in Engineering in Spain. He became a registered professional industrial engineer in Spain in 1975. He is a Member of the Board of the European Operations Management Association and a member of the Editorial Board of the Harvard Business Review (China). He has extensive consulting experience with private and public companies in Europe, America and Asia; his consulting clients have included the European Union and the World Bank. His work concentrates on the design and improvement of operations systems in manufacturing and service operations, with special emphasis on healthcare systems. He has been collaborating with Chinese corporations since 1987.

Rama Velamuri is Assistant Professor at IESE Business School. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Madras, an MBA from IESE Business School, and a PhD from the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia. He is a visiting professor at the Indian School of Business since 2004, and has taught at business schools in the US, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Egypt and Nigeria. He has been a facilitator in executive programs such as Inside India and executive programs designed for concrete companies such as Henkel Technologies, Abbott Laboratories, Goodyear-Dunlop, Grupo Santander, BBVA or Vodafone. He has worked as a consultant with the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. He has two main areas of research focus. The first lies at the intersection of entrepreneurship and business ethics, while the second examines the relationship between entrepreneurial strategies and firm growth. He has also contributed several book chapters on entrepreneurship and strategy, published his research in academic and practitioner outlets; and has developed more than 15 case studies.

Pedro Videla is Associate Professor of Economics at IESE. He holds a Phd (economics) and M.A. (economics) from the University of Chicago. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from the Universidad Católica de Chile. His areas of specialization include macroeconomics, international economies and emerging economies. He has taught at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñes in Chile, the Roosevelt University, Chicago, USA and currently teaches MBA economics courses at IESE. As a consultant he has been involved in projects with institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, CEE, the InterAmerican Development Bank and ASAID.
