Paul Verdin
Paul Verdin is Professor at the Solvay Business School (Chair in Strategy and Organization, Université Libre de Bruxelles), and at INSEAD. He has also been a Professor of Strategy and International Management at KULeuven and at IESE International Graduate Business School (E), and a number of other organizations and academic institutions throughout Europe and the U.S.

Over the last many years he also been researching the strategic and organizational issues and processes for internationalizing and globalizing companies, leading to the publication of numerous case studies on companies in a variety of industries.

His work has been covered in the professional and general business press including CFO Europe, the Economist Intelligence Unit, Treasury Management International, Wirtschaftswoche, Handelsblatt, Expansion Management Review, Trends Magazine, the Wall Street Journal Europe and the Financial Times.

Nick Van Heck
Nick Van Heck Nick Van Heck studied in the Katholieke Universiteit of Leuven (1990-1994), Leuven, Belgium, where he got the Degree of 'Handelsingenieur' (Commercial Engineer), cum laude. His special field : Managerial Economics and Strategy.

His professional experience is extensive: he conducts the Master Bvba in Wichelen, Belgium, he is Executive Learning Partnership in Leuven, Belgium. He is Co-founder of an international partnership in executive development and coaching. Managing partner. Organization, design of and teaching in management development programs and seminars for executives in a broad range of industries and companies.

Management consulting in a range of medium-sized and large international companies and organizations. Research on the internationalization of companies and the development of European strategies and organizations, especially through in-depth case studies.

Sander & Company (February 1999 - November 1999), Denmark-UK. He worked like a Interim-General Manager Management Development.

Niall Ferguson
Niall Ferguson is Professor of History at Harvard University. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at Jesus College, Oxford University, and a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.

A prolific commentator on contemporary politics and economics, Niall Ferguson writes and reviews regularly for the British and American press. He is a contributing editor for the Financial Times.

Dr. Pankaj Ghemawat
Dr. Pankaj Ghemawat is a full-time professor of IESE’s Strategic Management Department, and holder of the Anselmo Rubiralta Chair of Strategy and Globalization. He was previously at Harvard Business School, where he taught from 1983 until 2006. He was the youngest academic ever to be appointed full professor at Harvard.

Prof. Ghemawat’s current teaching and research focus on globalization and strategy. He has developed a 30-session MBA course on the topic, chairs focused programs at IESE and HBS on Getting Global Strategy Right, and has written more than 50 articles and case studies.
