3rd Conference on Interactive Advertising.Interaction wins
Barcelona, February 3, 2009 
The e-business Center PwC&IESE and the Interactive Advertising Bureau Spain will host the conference for a third year running; focusing on the role of the internet in advertising. The debate will also focus upon the change in attitudes, influences, and the possibilities provided by communication, helping us to understand the role of advertizing and the impact it has on our lives.

La Nit de les Telecomunicacions

The Catalan Association of Telecommunications Engineers (ACET) and the Official Association of Telecommunications Engineers of Catalonia (COTEC) will host the 14th "La Nit de les Telecomunicacions"
[Telecommunications Night] with the theme of "La Nit y el juego de la innovación" ["The Night and the Game of Innovation"]. The event will take place at "L'Auditori" in Barcelona, starting at 19:00.

Global Sourcing of Services: Myths, Realities, and Future Directions

Up to now, ADSL technology has prolonged the life of outdated copper wire telephone lines, but the current needs of net navigators in the age of video and content exchange demand a massive and decisive implementation of fiber optics. This will require real competition so that high-speed Internet access in Spain does not end up costing an arm and a leg.
