13th Annual Prestige Brands Meeting

China: the Route for Prestige

Introduction

The prestige brands sector is growing globally, but its geography has changed. China has now overtaken traditional markets. European companies, regardless of size, have to conquer consumers from distant markets by operating with them directly and or along tourist and hub routes. Employing the latest communication technologies and establishing suitable investment strategies is fundamental. The industry is gaining attractiveness for investors. However the race for growth will require bigger efforts. Consequently consolidation and concentration seem unavoidable.
