1. Welcome: the 11th issue
Do you need to find trade statistics or agreements and don’t know where to start? We’ve decided to devote this month’s newsletter to useful Library sources and specially free resources available on the Internet. In the new products section, we would like to introduce you to the OECD Statistical Compendium, a statistics database available at the University of Navarra’s Library. We hope you find this issue useful and feel free to send us your comments by e-mail - we care about your opinion!

3. New products: OECD Statistical Compendium

IESE community is able to access some databases subscribed by the University of Navarra’s library. These are listed on the following website: http://www.unav.es/biblioteca/iesebdred.html.

Among these databases, we would like to present the OECD Statistical Compendium, a database containing an extensive collection of indicators referring to:

  • Development and aid
  • General economic problems
  • Economic Indicators
  • National Accounts and Historical Statistics
  • Labor Market and Social Issues
  • Financial and Fiscal Affairs
  • Industry, Science and Technology
  • Foreign Trade Agriculture.

Coverage:

OECD Statistical Compendium offers statistics of OECD and some non-OECD countries monthly, quarterly or annually since 1960 (when data available).

How to access:

You can access to this database from any computer on the campus, from the List of databases-By Alphabetical order page clicking on OECD Statistical Compendium.

How to search:

Searching this database might be difficult the first time. In order to help you with your research, the Library has prepared a search guide with precise instructions and screenshots. This search guide is available next to the link to access to the database.

Results:

Data is presented in a table that you can export in different formats such as Excel, ASCII, Dbase or Lotus among others.
