1. Welcome: the 15th issue

In this Newsletter we introduce six business databases with custom charting capabilities. The charts produced from these databases look smart and professional and are built on reliable company, market and economic data. They can be saved and used in Powerpoint presentations or Word reports, provided the source is acknowledged and terms of use are observed. All six databases can be accessed across campus and from outside IESE by current students, staff and faculty: see Library > E-Resources > Off-campus access.

To help you present your charts with impact, we have included a list of books about communication, presentation-giving and Powerpoint, all of which are available in the library or online from Ebrary, and a few useful free websites.

We round off the newsletter with details of an important new service available to Members of the IESE Alumni Association: off-campus access to five key commercial databases.

Together these high quality information sources cover company financial analysis, journal and magazine articles, international news, market and industry data and online books.

Don’t forget that current students, staff and faculty have off-campus access to fifteen of our databases, including all of those mentioned in this Newsletter. See Library > E-Resources > Off-campus access
