  Best Apps for Business Research

In August 2010 Wired magazine declared "The Web Is Dead. Long Live the Internet," based on the assumption that the rise of more user-firendly mobile apps would lead to mass abandonment of the Web.

However, two years have passed since then and the Web is still very much alive. We fail to see how Apps versus Web should be seen as a fundamental either/or choice, since both are being used by consumers. Moreover, acording to the latest trend studies, mobile browsers and apps are expected to coexist going forward in the next three to five years.

That said, in order to improve your IESE Library e-resources mobile experience, we devote our summer Library Newsletter to recommend useful apps to download to your mobile devices just in case you want to access them on the go. We hope you find them useful.
