As you might expect, the library receives a number of important daily newspapers, including the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Expansión, El País, La Vanguardia. You will find today’s papers just inside the library entrance, together with back issues from the previous week.
Thousands more regional, national and international newspapers, news wires and industry publications are available in full text via a database called Factiva. Factiva is updated daily, and also contains long archives of 25 years or more for some newspapers (e.g. New York Times from 1969), so is an important research tool as well as a current affairs service. You may be surprised at Factiva’s coverage: check the list of sources for your local paper from back home. It may be there!
You can access Factiva from Library > E-Resources . |
